Pur water pitcher filter

This is only kind of tea related I guess but I need others input.

I dug out an old Pur filter pitcher (maybe 15 years old?). Used it and liked it. Went to buy a replacement filter. The new ones are long and blue. The old one looks kinda like the short white Brita filters. So being cheap I grabbed the Great Value version. It doesn’t fit all the way down in the cup that holds it in the pitcher. I did not see replacement cups. The GV version was not notched wide enough at the bottom to fit.

Does any one know if the GV’s just don’t fit in general and the Brita would work?
