Has anyone tried David's 16 oz timolino?

I saw them at the store today, and although there isn’t a large variety of colours, it does seem like a great idea. The steel does somehow feel a bit thinner, although perhaps that was just me. The neat thing about it though is that the brewing basket is quite large, which always makes me happy. It also has a few holes in the bottom so as to let excess water drip, whereas the 12 oz one only has the mesh on the sides. Anyway, has anyone snagged one of these yet? thoughts on differences or overall performance?

I have both! I find it pretty much exactly the same but I love the bigger size. I wish there was mesh at the top so I can leave tea in the basket, but that’s the same as the old one (I still just put it in the bottom if it is a tea that can steep for a long time).

I have one, I LOVE IT the 12 oz was always way too small for me. I use it for both tea and coffee and even when i accidentally left it with coffee with creamer in it for a week (i’m a slob) it cleans like a dream.

Thanks for your replies. I definitely think I’ll get one, as I can consume tea at an alarming rate.
