Traditional Yorkshire English Brack Pudding Recipe - Using Tea

I put the tv on this morning and saw a show making a Yorkshire Brack pudding which caught my eye as I adore currant cakes. I sat with awe and hunger watching it bake and then I saw the ingredients…I missed the tea part. The currants were stewed in tea overnight! What a great idea. I tracked the recipe down to give it a try and wondered if maybe anyone else would be interested? It could easily be made vegan too.

Thanks for posting. This “Hubby” thinks it would be a good recipe to try. I may try adding some dried peels to make it more like my mom’s fruit cake.
