12 Days of Christmas Swap

I got this idea from what LiberTEAS did last year, but I don’t think she’s doing it this year, so I wanted to see if there’s any interest? (Hope I’m not stepping on any toes!)

Basically, there would be a group of 12 participants and each person is assigned one of the 12 days of Christmas. Each person would pick 1 tea to send out 11 samples of to the other participants, so everyone will end up with 1 sample of tea for each of the 12 days of Christmas. Each day (for the 12 days before December 25th) you would open 1 of your samples. It would be neat if your tea had something to do with your specific day, for example: the 5th day is ‘Gold Rings’ so you could find a tea that has something to do with gold or rings. Make sense? Each person would put their samples in an outer envelope with just the day number (1-12) on it, so that each day is a surprise for what tea will be for that day.

So if we have 11 people who are interested we can do this. (The first 11 to reply will be in!) Each person will need to:
-Send out 11 samples of the SAME tea to the other participants
-Teas must be packaged in an outer envelope with only the day of Christmas on the front
-Inside of the envelope should be the name of the tea, steeping instructions and ingredients in case any one has allergies
-Teas must be sent by December 9th at the latest, so that everyone receives them to start on December 14th (**Teas may need to be sent earlier depending on if any Canada Steepsters want to participate because shipping will take longer!)

Reply if you’re truly interested. Please only sign up if you’re sure you can commit because it will be super sad if we are missing one day of tea because someone didn’t send theirs out! :)

Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate due to end-of-the-semester nursing school overload, but CelebriTEAS will be taking over the organization of this swap. Look for posts from her, and send any questions her way. :)
