24 Days of Tea Advent Calendar (DavidsTea)

Sold out in an hour?! Holy crap! I bought two a couple years ago, one for me and one for my sis and it was a great intro to David’s Tea for us. I ended up not falling in love with their teas (my sis did), but the packaging and excitement of an advent calender with something other than chocolate was super awesome. Congrats on snagging one! Hope you enjoy it thoroughly!

I agree with you on the feelings towards DavidsTea in general. The more I drink their teas, the more I am left wanting quality. I am a sucker for their marketing though (it’s very good) and at the very least, they have very very friendly staff from both store and online.

I’m not going to lie, the packaging is cute with the little tins and the pockets to open etc, so I think that is the Christmas side of me that is dancing around like a little kid, but it will be nice to try a new tea every day!

I ended up missing out on them this year, both online and in store since the nearest store to me is about a half hour+ drive into the city (which I hate going into). There were a few teas in the calendar that didn’t sound like anything I’d enjoy (though who knows after I would try them), but I love the concept and it looks like it’d be tons of fun. I’m definately going to be stalking online for them next year. Unless they open a location up closer to me. /keeps fingers crossed/ Lol.
For those who had them last year, are they packaged the same as they are this year with the little tins and everything?

I got a calendar and one as a gift for someone, but you’re right it is more about the fun of opening an advent calendar than the tea itself. We also have an advent calendar at work, and people enjoy it. Last year we did one of the playmobil calendars with a medieval castle setting and this year we’re doing one from the Metropolitan museum with decorations you put on a little paper tree.

There are actually still calendars in the Davids near my house. I wish that my family were the type to do expensive advent calendars slash i were the type to buy myself the calendar.

It’s not a bad way to sample 24 different teas either is the way I think about it.

I’m really excited! We have a local Davids Tea, and were super frustrated when we found out that we missed the last one by about ten minutes! Called every store within an hour’s drive, all sold out. Except the one furthest store, which is always really busy and in a huge mall, wouldn’t answer the phone. Well, we chanced it, and amazingly, they still have some! The staff were even surprised that some were left. So… Yeah. Can’t wait!

Check theses out! The David’s calendar is in the list too. I was hoping they’d have more variety, but I guess a taste of whiskey or gin every day for the month of December isn’t too bad either.
