Herbal tea in my Breville One Touch

Has anyone experienced that the herbal teas go through the basket in my Breville One Touch and I am wondering if anyone has a solution rather than using tea bags? I was very disappointed when I made some Tumeric Ginger Rishi and couldn’t drink it! Thanks for your help.

I always use an additional fine-mesh strainer when I pour the tea from my one-touch into my cup. Always. This eliminates the possibility of any stray bits of tea, rooibos leaf or anything else ending up in my teacup.

Thank you for your reply. This is going to sound stupid…but is it a small one especially for tea?

In cases like this, I’ll usually run the tea brewed in the breville through one of these.

I only really notice this with rooibus ones. I don’t strain it out, I just deal with the debris at the bottom of my cup. The way I see it, it would have probably happened with the strainers I use as well. It doesn’t bug me that much though…

thanks for the great recommendations. I tried drinking it, but it wasn’t good to swallow tea leaves with the tumeric ginger.
I will order one of those above tonight!! Thanks for being so helpful. I love this site.
