Speciality Bottle tins- Plastic or metal?

Do this tins have a plastic ring inside like the round ones or are they all metal? Only reason why I ask is because I bought the TWS6, and the plastic part that helps seal the tin soaks in the smell from the tea. I haven’t found a good way to get rid of this smell when I change teas. I’d like an all metal one, like the ones David’s teas sell, so I can wash them without transferring smell.
