Delivery confirmation comes with Priority Mail and it cost just as much to ship Priority as it did non-priority – $6.85. It is not in a Priority box, though, so you may choose to not use priority, in case it increases in weight as it goes along. :)
Yay! I am already planning what to put in it even though it’s going to be a while before my turn comes :D
Under $7! That’s great. I can’t wait for it to reach me, I’ll be sure to take pictures and put in some fun stuff!
Post office weighed it at 1 lb. 2 oz. It’s not a large box, but there are quite a few teas in there and room to add more. Hopefully a good start.
Yay!! I made two tea orders which should definitely get to me before the box does so I should be able to add a larger variety! :)
Goody goody! Can’t wait to see what everybody puts in. It’s a great way to find out about other sources and tastes. It’s always so scary to order things that you haven’t smelled or tasted before. (Besides info from Tasting Notes which is so helpful!)
Well, gang, we are a sort of spread out group. We have a cluster to the east side of the country and then one south and one northwest. I apologize that I did not even think about what TeaSipper mentioned – arranging the box order for reducing shipping costs.
What say you? Do we keep the box order as it is or do we rearrange to at least try to make shipping costs as equal as possible? There isn’t a great solution and some will pay more for shipping than others, I’m sure. But I do now have a rearranged list and if the majority want, I will put it in place of the initial list.
If possible I think equal shipping costs would be a good thing to try for. It probably won’t be possible to get it exact, but at least attempt to keep it within a range (maybe $5-$10) for everyone?
For reference, what’s the current order of states the box will be going to? And what would the new order be?

Not bad till you get to the last half of the list. Then things get pretty spread out.

It jumps all over but maybe equals costs a bit more than the original list.

Did you include yourself in there or are there two people in MO? Either way shipping from WA to MO is probably about the best it’s going to get. Most of the other trips only cross one or two states each, so they shouldn’t be too bad.
It seems the order doesn’t affect me much, so I’m okay with whatever order the last few are okay with.
Your order is fine with me and no I am not on the list – there are 2 in MO so one MO will be the last regardless :) we’ll see what the bottom of the list has to say and then post the change if agreed upon. :) sorry for the confusion – I should have thought about this beforehand.
As a participant in another TTB, I’m just jumping in to say that this sounds like a fun TTB, and I love the idea of including recipes that have tea as an ingredient. :)

I’m ok with any order. I’m as far to the west as it gets, so honestly, whatever works best for everyone. :)
I also don’t care much about the order, so I will just go by the vote of the rest :)
I am ok with any order. It seems you have kept the shipping very reasonable and it shouldn’t get too expensive.
