I say we stop supporting Companies that are not supporting our PLANET

As a tea drinker and lover of nature and our mother earth, I personally believe in supporting businesses and companies that are in turn supporting the health of our planet WE all call home. I no longer by tea from Teavana as they are owned by Starbucks “mega-corporation destroying hundreds of mom-and-pop cafés” and less than one tenth of one percent of total sales of Starbucks was Fair Trade certified. I was also informed by one of the employees working there during the buy out that when starbucks took over, the employees where all told to not talk about the health benefits of the tea unless asked. It is time we come together as conscious consumers and realize that we all “vote” with our dollars. Lets do this for not only us but for the generations to come. And at the same time discover and enjoy the benefits of beautifully Karmic Tea.

Does anyone else feel the same way? What are your favorite tea companies you support?

Interesting topic. Personally, I would say most of the people would rather buy tea that they like from Teavana than something they don’t like as much from a fair trade, small company shop. That’s just the way it is since a vast majority of people put their personal gains before the good of the planet. But I might be too pessimistic. And sure, you are right. After all, it is in the long term interest of al tea drinkers that we keep our planet clean and hard working farmers around the world socially secure.
