Best Decaf Earl Grey Tea

Hi, I am addicted to Twinings Earl Grey Tea. I know there are probably other teas out there that are higher quality, but I have stuck to what I like. My problem is, I have to decaffeinate myself. I need some tea drinkers to help me find a quality loose decaf Earl Grey. HELP! And Thanks!

The one from the English Tea Store isn’t bad.

If you like Twinnings, see if you can find it in decaf. My son likes Twinnings English Breakfast & we found it in decaf in the grocery today. He was excited since that means he can have it later in the day if he wants.

Why not stick with what you know if you like it. Can’t beat the price !

Thanks Suziqzer, but I like loose tea, and Twinings doesn’t do decaf Earl Grey in loose. Believe me, I checked!

Thanks AnnaEA!

I haven’t tried it, so take this with a grain of salt, but Adagio has a loose leaf decaf Earl Grey, and since it’s Adagio and since it’s inexpensive, it might be worth trying. They also sell a Rooibos earl grey tea.

And while I’m mentioning teas I haven’t tried, David’s Tea also has a decaf Early Grey, but the price isn’t as good as Adagio’s.

Oh.. Didn’t gather that you were looking loose leaf. Most of the Twinnings I’ve seen are bagged varieties although I know they make some in loose leaf. I see they don’t have loose leaf decaf listed in their website, but they certainly have it packaged every other way. Have you emailed them to see if they might have it available in loose leaf anywhere ?

Suziqzer, if it is not on their website product list, it is most likely that it is not available. I followed AnnaAE’s lead and ordered from the English Tea Store. Their shipping is only $2.45 which I think is very fair. I am planning on trying a few other ones, and I will let y’all know what one I think is best. Thanks everybody! By the way, I think the tea brewed from Bigelow Decaf Earl Grey tea bags tastes like armpit water!

I know this is an old thread, but I recently tried Harney and Sons decaf earl grey which was pretty good. Wondering if anyone has found a great decaf earl grey cream?
