Tea Rash?

I’m pretty sure that I am allergic to some ingredients in different types of teas. My hands break out in an itchy rash as well as my face upon consuming these certain teas. 3 pots of each of these specific teas confirmed it.

Anyone else ever experienced this?

Hi! Sad to hear about the rash outbreaks. But… the rash is doing you a favor and telling you to stay away from something, that’s for sure.

Many teas do have additives, but I also question if the teas you are drinking are low in or free from pesticide residue. Some of us, me included, are quite sensitive to those things that others don’t react to.

Are there teas you are consuming that don’t cause you to break out?

I’m pretty sensitive to a variety of things, like artificial flavors, pesticides, gluten, etc. I usually don’t get a rash from them, but will have other symptoms. However, I do get a rash just like you described if I consume any milk products, even in minuscule quantities, it’s horribly itchy.

I hate having these kinds of reactions, & I always test them more than once, hoping I’m wrong about my theories, but I’m usually not.
