Whispering Pines & Butiki Teas Super Crazy Contest $120+ in Giveaways
Great contest! Too many great teas to just pick one from each company!
Whispering Pines I would love to try one of their Ginger blends.. Gingersnap for another nice caffeine free evening tea, or Gingerade that I would like to try iced. Smores may have made the top if this was done in the Fall… I love campfires and that time of the year. :)
Butiki… Lemon French Macaroon sounds good. I love coconut macaroons and am warming up to citrus in tea… I would love to see what Stacy did with this. The Hello Sweetie sounds great too… for a rich treat, not sure about the banana in it, but sounds yummy & so many good reviews. Too many here I’ve heard good things about.. could have easily picked more.

Suzi, I tried the lemon one, and it’s the difference in a macaroon (like with coconut) and a macaron (like the little French cookies). No coconut at all in this one. It’s awesome though.

I got all the way through typing up my entry before seeing the US & Canada only flag and now I am sad. So you’ll need to discount my entry, but you can have it for whimsical reasons in any case.
1. BUTIKI: WHITE RHINO. I have heard so much about Butiki from so many awesome steepsters I follow so just the name itself has me quivering in my socks (also it’s getting a little chilly down here). This specific tea seems to draw hushed whispers and reverent mumblings from multiple steepsters and I need to experience it. Each new post ranks it higher on my bucket list. Not just my tea bucket list—my LIFE bucket list. (I wish I could name Rose Violet Calendula Oolong for similar reasons but for discontinued reasons I believe there will always be an empty space in my heart for this one.)
2. WHISPERING PINES: PORT. This competition has opened my eyes to Whispering Pines and just reading through the descriptions of some of the teas (in particular the Spirit blends) makes me want a cry a little bit with nostalgia that isn’t even mine. Port in particular makes my chest hurt a bit. For this beautiful reason I want to taste this tea.

I’ll break the rules a little bit and add you to my list of possible gifs, since that part of the contest doesn’t have shipping costs that we need to worry about. That gif is hilarious.

Congrats everyone! I had such a hard time choosing the gif. Really narrowed it down the the 2 Doctor Who, Dean, the Community, the cat in a tea cup, and the corgi. Really could have been any of those.

Thank you for organizing this contest, it was really fun! I usually don’t take part in things like that, but this one was just too good not to participate. I also loved everyone’s replies and gifs.
