I have the box now everybody!!!
Awesome. I was going to ask Carol what the status on the box was since I hadn’t heard anything she she got it. Good to know it’s onto the next person.
Passed the box on to Marzipan today over lunch. I only took out like 5 one cup servings from this box because I just got through with the OTHER box and was still feeling kind of overwhelmed! I have a list at home of what all I took which I can post here later if anyone cares to read it :)
I got it today! This looks so good. I really wanted to try some of these darjeelings first thing but I already had my fill of black teas before the package arived.
I am preparing a green from Bolivia now!
Just bumping this up! I’m also wondering if there is a way to know what is being added/removed from the box? Is there a notebook or something traveling with it?
I sent a message to Kat yesterday, but I haven’t heard anything back from her yet.
And I made a list of all the teas that were in the box when I sent it out and wrote in what I had added. I’m hoping everyone else is doing the same. Lol. In any case, there’s some sort of list traveling with the box.
I finally sent the box today! I am really sorry about the delay but it was caused by a few unexpected changes to my schedule.
I am going to send a link to my tasting notes that I grouped under one ‘random steepings’ entry once I update it with all I’ve had.
The box is a great way to learn more about tea and I thoroughly enjoyed it :) Thank you, Stacy and Shadowfall, for organizing it :)

Um, I think I was skipped. Is there a way I can get the box after Teasipper? I was not on Steepster over the weekend and that seemed to have caused some confusion.
I can definitely send it to you when I’m done, teamore. Just as long as it’s okay with Shadowfall and the original shipping order gets changed so it doesn’t get confusing down the line.
Yeah. Veronica couldn’t get ahold of you and after a few days I told her to skip to Tea Sipper. I changed the order so you’re now after Tea Sipper.

Stacy, thank you so much for putting this box together. I learned quite a bit by being able to try such a variety of teas side by side!
I mostly tried balck teas, so the teas I added were:
Nepal SFTGFOP1 Tippy – Upton
Red Jade – Eco Cha
Tiger Assam – Andrews and Dunham
Premium Keemun Hao Ya Black – Teavivre
Castleton Moonlight Darjeeling – Butiki
It’s here! I can’t wait to try these! SO many! It looks like the papers with the teabox are the only way you can see what is being removed/added from the box, so it’s kind of confusing keep track. If previous participants have put everything in a ‘random steeping’ note, I can’t find them either. So I wonder if anyone who has already participated can post a link to that, if you did. A hint that helps: if you click on the ‘comments’ for your tasting note, it will go to a new page that just shows your tasting note. If you copy and paste that link, it won’t show everyone’s notes, only yours. I’m planning on doing that when I send the box on. For now it’s a draft in my e-mail as I add to it. :D
My tasting notes are still on paper. I tasted the teas in a variety of ways (Darjeelings #1 First Flush, Second Flush, and Autumnal – Assam #1 and #3 – several China teas) and I’m not sure if I want to post each tea separately or in the groups that I tasted them in.
I’m probably just writing one note for everything in the random steepings or whatever it is anyway… but I think everyone participating in this teabox could learn more if there was a way to see what everyone else thought.
