Lost Then Found!

Hey beautiful gang of tea-heads. I was reorganizing our pu’er storage vault yesterday and found a stack of 2006 Haiwan 7588 bricks! We put them on the site with the 2007 version. Brewed some up after finding them yesterday and 3 of us all marveled at the wonderful changes this tea has made in the last few years. Check it out here: http://shopmandalatea.com/ripe-pu-er/cakes-bricks/250-gram-haiwan-7588-brick-2007.html

Tea ya!

Hi! We just did a little side-by-side of these two teas. 3 grams of dried leaf each in a competition cup (150 ml)… full boil… 6 minutes. They are both great. But… the 2006 is smoother and a bit creamier in aroma, slightly darker cup. 2007 has a little more drying on the tongue, a little more bite. Fascinating test. My money is on the 2006. Plenty of dried fruit and leather in both of them.

I remember a song by this name out in the day. Won’t spill the beans though.

just replied, my friend!!! And I think The Kinks’ “Come Dancing” was a great tune!

It is a good tune, but it’s annoying that it’s one of the very few Kinks songs that gets airplay.

They have bunches of good songs in their repertoire.
