[Finished] TTB: TEAlephone - Finished!
Woah this got started a little faster than I was planning. I leave Saturday on a 7 day cruise. Totally spaced on mentioning that! So if I could be maybe last to receive it, or if there’s a path that works that gives me about 10 days till receiving it. I dot want to hold up the process for a week right off the bat! And if not, I’m ok with sitting this round out and joining next round! Sorry guys!
Since I’m near the bottom of the list, we could totally move Mandy down to after me. I don’t mind shipping to Florida at all! And after, it can go back to Arshness since you guys are pretty close :)

I’ll definitely have fun, I’m just really bummed because apparently the birth certificate my mom gave me to use to apply for my passport was the short form and not the long form and they waited till yesterday, 4 days before I leave and 7 weeks after I applied (they said it should take 4-6 weeks) to even tell me, and of course after me calling every day for 2 weeks trying to find out what was going on, the had finally convinced me the day before to pay another $80 to “expedite” it. So I had to run to office max last night to fax them a request them to overnight my birth certificate back to me so I can at least board the cruise. Best case scenario I dot get to do all the fun excursions that my family has planned, worse case scenario they don’t send the birth certificate on time and I can’t go. Needless to say, I was on the verge of angry tears last night when I got the call last night.
Sorry for ranting! I’m just really angry. But thanks for offering to ship to me Kyra! Sorry to mess the whole order up!

Wow, I would definitely demand a refund from them. Either the $80 or the cost of the cruise depending on how it turns out. They had the paperwork 7 weeks and ago and should have notified you sooner. Smh.
Oh trust me, I want to! I didn’t want to pay the expedited to begin with because that fee is to make sure you get it in 3 weeks and it had already been 7 so I shouldn’t have ha to pay that price anyway. And the lady I talked to that told me I was denied was very rude, saying that the time frame on the website is for the off season, even though the website says it’s the current time and accusing me of having just applied the night before. Which obviously isn’t true, because it wouldn’t have already be in processing if that were the case, that was when I paid to expedite it. And then she was like oh we emailed you. Which they did, an hour before calling, not 4 weeks ago when they should have. And on top of that, getting in contact with the actual processing place is next to impossible, I tried calling to make sure they received the fax, only to find out they use some kind of automated rerouting service and that calls only go one way. And then calling the number on the website just leads to the same call center that I called everyday for 2 weeks, which is useless and doesn’t know anything I can’t see online. They can tell me they received the fax but not if they actually mailed the birth certificate or anything.
On the plus side, my dad called and said that apparently if you’re cruising the Caribbean you can get of at the ports as long as you get back on the same ship. So if it gets here on time, I can even maybe still go explore Mayan ruins and snorkel with starfish and stuff. So hopefully it might turn out ok!

When you get my mailer, MadameTJ please post back to this thread and let everyone know what you received but do not post what you send out.
This way we can let each person get a surprise, but we can track the game as it goes since the only people who replied an opinion on that wanted to follow along rather than afterwards.
If you want to do a tasting note, please put Tealephone in the first line so we can notice it. :)
Remember, if you can, go ahead and send it out right away. You can taste the tea after it’s gone even since there’s no decision to make on keeping a tea or anything due to the type of game we’re playing. :)

carol who posted in the what did you get the mail thread that she had the package 4 days ago and was sending it on to me the next day. I am expecting it to arrive today or tomorrow.
We also need to know what she received to update the list. Some people do not follow the other thread, so we should all probably post on this thread when we received the package and what we received to keep it all in one place for Arshness :-)
The Tealephone TTB is on it’s way. I had to go out and get the tea I thought was my best choice. I received African Autumn from Harney and Sons.
I received the Tealephone today. I got African Queen from Sereneteaz. Now to figure out what to send kiwiDelight….
I don’t know if you guys would be down, but once we figure out what tea we receive, I’d like to know why the sender sent that tea!
Maybe there’s a backstory to why that tea reminded you of the tea that you got! It can be as simple as both teas are herbals, or outrageous as like receiving an apple tea, and that reminded you making apple pie, so you send a cinnamon tea off to the next person!
Looking at the description of the discussion, there has to be a reason how each tea is linked, and I’m curious :)
