Gaming ratings is something that has always particularly bugged me. The Chai & Mighty ones are years old, too. I remember then being there shortly after I joined and nothing was ever done about them despite being reported and complained about. Drives me nuts that behavior is allowed to go unpunished.

One of my pet peaves is gaming the ratings for tea. There needs to be a minimum number of reviews (5 maybe?) or an older account review them. If all of the reviewers only rate 100 or 99 for that company’s teas, they are probably shills. I will never buy or recommend these tea companies for this exact reason.

Agreed, Arby, on all counts. I hadn’t seen much of that going on here until recently, but I saw it verbally on r/tea which turned me away from Reddit and to this site. Now the shilling is happening here. I feel like going kamikaze on those accounts but with the ridiculous spam situation going on, I don’t want to lose my account deletion ability. I’m not sure what difference it would make anyway :/

lol yes the dentists in other countries that they think we are all in the market for. I don’t know about you but I’m not really interested in going to another country and spending $2000 on a plane flight for a $150 procedure that my health plan covers. Maybe they just think people on vacation might say hey, why not “enjoy” a vacation in Laos once you get your root canal done while you sit in a hotel in a foreign country where if there are any complications nobody speaks the language. Foolproof plan.
