Non floral teapots

Hello…i’ve been in search of a teapot for some time now, and just can[t find what the teapot i picture in my mind.

I want a teapot on which the main decoration is not floral! I’ve been seeing teapots in TV shows from Australia, England and Ireland, and they all have the most attractive teapots with simple decorations of geometric designs on a white or bi color background, for example. Perhaps little golden flour de lis, or platinum pinstripes.

I’m in So. California, and would appreciate any suggestions. Web searches, local high end china shops, etc, have all turned up nothing.

Amazon carries Le Souk, which is geometric. A lot of them seem to be out of stock at the moment, but looking for the brand elsewhere might be a help. Polish pottery has geometric patterns, sometimes with small flowers, sometimes without. Blue Rose Polish Pottery carries a lot. http://bluerosepottery.com/ Also http://www.polishpottery.com has a lot but they seem to have higher prices.

I assume you are looking for a fine bone china teapot. Have you checked Macy’s or Bloomingdales? Recently I was at Bloomies and saw some stunning German teapots

Teaforte has a Pugg teapot with some non-floral designs. Though it’s a very modern style so I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for. You may also find something you like on Etsy, I’ve found some great deals there. https://www.etsy.com/search/vintage?q=striped+teapot

This is an usual looking set I own. It’s ceramic, not bone china, but the quality is very good for the price and it comes with two nice cups.

I like how modern and different it looks.

Cheap shipping to USA or free over $50.

Oh, I keep eyeing that one. It’s not quite big enough, but I might end up getting it anyways. :)

@TeaF Do you just live in my brain? Do we have the same taste in everything?? I keep putting this in my cart and taking it and putting it in and taking it out. Last time I took it out was because I was getting the pink one. Now I think it needs to be back in – but I don’t NEED another teapot – but its so awesome.

Lol, both of you: GET IT BEFORE IT’S GONE!!!

The lid is a little hard to remove cause it’s tightly sealed, but it’s great that it really stays in place while you poor. The cups are amazing, l use them all the time.

We do have similar tastes don’t we?

(And I NEVER buy teaware cause I need it, just sayin…)

We really do. OK, I figure if I’ve put it into my cart more than 3 times (and it’s on SALE!) I probably really want it.

Well David’s is quick so it should be here soon….

OMGsrsly, I forgot to ask but how big are your teapots usually? Lol, this one is 800ml, and I thought is was pretty large!!

Haha! Good job MzPriss, congrats! Now I really hope you like it, cause I’m gonna feel a little responsible…

You shouldn’t because I promise, I have it bookmarked and I keep thinking about it so I needed to just go ahead and get it. I love that turquoise color is pretty much my favorite color – or in the top 3 anyway :)

Most of my teapots are 16-18oz, but my mugs are all 16oz (500ml). So I want a 1 to 1.5L teapot for 2-3 mugs. :)

Wow, those are huge tea pots. I have the opposite issue, I am always looking for smaller, under 100 ml for me, while you are looking for larger. :)
