Global Tea Hut

Oooh! Really neat. Thanks for sharing pictures. Of all the subscriptions I’ve looked at, this one interests me the most. I blame the addition of getting a magazine. XD I’ll probly sign up one day, when I can justify the money. Lol!

It was a pretty good read. It talked about how their team hand processed the tea that was sent out this month, with pictures and all.

Beautiful tea and bamboo trivet. I have been considering this too, mainly in memory of the years I spent at a center for meditation studying with a Sufi master. Back then we drank the old Yogi teas, the 5 herb, 8 herb, 16 and 22 herb (that last one was kinda a crazy drink). Yogi doesn’t make those old blends anymore for meditation centers, too bad in a way. Anyway, the Global Hut mission is, I think, better, work is part of all meditation centers but few have an actual product. It is really healthy and less self serving to work on real products that go out to the world, than to only toil on behalf of the center.

The tea looks and sounds amazing! My only worry about this type of thing is they don’t give you any idea about what kinds of teas they send you, and I wouldn’t want to pay for a monthly subscription and then get a tea that I really don’t like.

Oh funny side note, my husband asked, “Oh is that the tea tray you ordered?” The trivet is about 8" across.

I got mine today and I’m quite impressed so far. I haven’t even tried the tea yet. I love the little tin it comes in. And the tea smells really nice.

Oh, that looks interesting! I’ll put it on my to-do list for later. It should motivate me to get around to jumping through all the flaming hoops it takes to change my name on my paypal account. The idea of receiving mail with my old name on it is rather off-putting, plus confusing for the post office and I worry my post might get lost.
