Kudos for Great Customer Service

Stacy at Butiki Tea has been incredible. Always responds to inquiries very quickly and informatively, and even obliged with a special ‘custom order’ request (that was somewhat labor-intensive) that I can’t imagine any other company would do.

Brenden at Whispering Pines has been great with communication (via Steepster) and very informative, even in answering my curiosity questions that have nothing to do with actually ordering.

I absolutely HATE the big-company, salesmanship, “Hello customer G47834c”, … if you know what I mean. These two companies have always felt far away from that, and this is mainly due to their communication and service and how it feels/sounds like they actually give a shit to write back. Its great talking to the actual owners/founders instead of just some interchangeable employee who is paid to give you a generic response.

It’s one thing to have good teas and product, but its another to have great communication and service to match. I have nothing but good things to say about both Butiki (Stacy) and Whispering Pines (Brenden).

I’d also have to say particularly good things about Stacy (at Butiki) and Brenden (at Whispering Pines) – both were super-helpful when dealing with all of my inane and, no doubt, annoying queries. And they seemed to go out of their way to help, which was great! They also kept me in the loop every step of the way, from order to receipt of items, which was really great.

London Tea Club have been pretty great so far, too, actually. Cecelia sends out lots of helpful, personal(ish) emails and their Facebook is really active. It’s always nice to see that level of interest from a company in its customers :-)

Verdant and Teapigs have also been generally great when it came to responding to emails/being helpful etc.
