Tea Kettle for induction

I can’t find any recent discussions on this topic. My old electric kettle bit the dust today. I have a great induction cooktop and it boils a pot of water fast (under 2 minutes for the larger quantities). So logically..I should get a kettle to put on the cooktop and clear off my counter. Does anyone have suggestions? Induction compatible pots are magnetic, many stainless types work and aluminum doesn’t. Perhaps 20 years ago I had a Chantal but I hear they aren’t the same quality they used to be (they do say they are induction “ready”).

Chantal is a very good manufacturer and continues to have quality products. Many stainless steel kettles are probably compatible for induction but we think you would be happier if you knew the products were tested on induction or specify that it is made with magnetic carbon steel.

Here’s a couple of classic kettles by Chantal made of magnetic carbon steel, which is great for induction cooktops.
