Does anyone have a list of the brands of tea that Whole Foods carry? Thanks!

I’m hoping for at least Republic of Tea and Mighty Leaf. Going to make a trip there this week, just not familiar with their usual brands.

It pretty much depends on the Whole Foods. In Memphis the Whole Foods carries Mighty Leaf Republic of Tea, Yogi Tea, and a few others including some medicinal teas. It has a very, very limited selection of Rishi teas. Virtually none of the teas are available as loose rather than bagged.

In Nashville, Whole Foods has double the number of teas and a very good selection of Rishi and other loose teas. In Denver I recall that Whole Foods was more similar to Nashville.

If you’re looking for tea you also have a good chance of finding an ok selection of teas at Fresh Market.

Thanks for the info- looks like they have a good variety, at least of bagged tea. :)

The Whole foods in Kansas City, Ks. has lots of bagged tea and they also have a large round table of loose teas. Kind of a self serve deal but they get expensive

Another grocery store for loose tea in KC is the baby version of Whole Foods, Green Acres Market in the Briarcliff area. They carry reasonably priced Fair Trade Organic teas in the self serve bulk foods aisle. I just picked some up this afternoon.

In the Chicago area we have…
1. Rishi
2. Numi
3. Yogi
4. Two Leaves and a Bud
5. Mighty Leaf Tea
6. Republic of Tea
7. Zhenas Gypsy Tea
8. Loose tea available by ounce made for Whole Foods
There are more but I can’t remember them. I was just there yesterday. I could have jotted them down. Oh well, next time I go I will update with the rest.

At ours we have Tazo and Traditional Medicinals for sure in addition to the ones Rachel mentioned, and I’m pretty sure I saw DoMatcha there as well.

Our Whole Foods in Vancouver, WA has a very nice selection of teas – they have DoMatcha, Townshend’s, The Jasmine Pearl (the company, not the type of tea), Stash, Tazo, Numi, Yogi, Two Leaves and a Bud, Zhena’s, Rishi, The Tea Spot, Mighty Leaf Tea, Republic of Tea, PG Tips, plus they have a large selection of bulk loose leaf teas. And I am sure there are even more … but I can’t think of them. I haven’t been to the Whole Foods in Portland for a while since they opened here in Vancouver (and it’s only about 5 minutes away), so I’m not sure what they carry there.

I love Whole Foods!
