Anyone tried MATCHAccino?

I ran across their Kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/444274651/naturally-flavored-green-tea-frappe-latte-mix

The reviews on Steepster seem pretty good, so I was surprised to find they have so few backers- the goal seems really high for the time left in the campaign. I’ve never tried it, so I don’t know if it’s good or not and if there was another reason for not supporting. I know I’ve seen lots of support from our community on Kickstarter before, such as when SBT was doing their campaign.

I’m not associated with their company, I’ve just never tried the product and am curious. =)

I tried Matchacino once, but wasn’t impressed. It is just Matcha and a lot of sugar. I prefer non-caloric sweeteners (though I do enjoy their unsweetened matchas a lot). Re the kickstarter, this is a product that is already for sale; they seem to just want capital to buy a lot of product – not very exciting.

Makes sense. I notice though that for backing, the price of backing for rewards is less than if you just get it straight off their site. But then again they hadn’t popped up on my radar before so I don’t know how often they might do sales.

Wow. I didn’t realize they had that high of a goal for their kickstarter. Huh.

Personally, I rather like their Caramel Matchaccino, but then I also like the convenience of just being able to toss a tbsp into a cup of milk, stir vigorously and voila, caramel green milk. Lol! I’ve never tried making it any other way (except I used some in cookies once that was very nearly a disaster. Still edible, but I forgot to account for the added sugar in the mix. Lol).

As far as I know, they don’t run sales on their matchaccino often that I’ve noticed, only their regular matcha flavors now and then.
