Looking for teapot no taller than 4 inches

I called David’s Teas…the Night Sky Starburst bubble teapot is so CUTE…but about 3/4 of an inch too tall. I have a hot water spigot that is attached to the industrial coffee maker here at work, but the hot water spigot is way shorter than the coffee spigots. Therefore, anything I put under it has to be less than 4 inches tall.

Is anyone aware of a tea pot that is short in height? I found one from World Market, but I’d like another (so I can rotate them). Alas, an electric water heater at my desk is not allowed.

Thanks!

(and thanks to David’s Tea for having a wonderful customer service rep who took her ruler out to the showroom, measured the height of the teapot, and then called me back…it is much appreciated!)

Try that, I have this same exact teapot purchased from this same exact seller and it is 3 and 3/4 inches WITH the lid.

You could always get a small pitcher that was under 4 inches high and use that to transfer water into any teapot you choose.

However, I measured my Stump teapot. It comes out under four inches tall. It is available from a variety of sellers. I got it from www.svtea.com.

+1 Love my Stump!
I’ve also seen lots of teapots at Marshall’s/Homegoods/TJ Maxx lately. You might check them out.

I picked up a small tea pot at a local kitchenware/house decor store. Those kinds of stores might be worthwhile places to check out.

The personaliTEA pots from Adagio are under 4in (about 3.5in when I measured one of mine) and come in a bunch of different colors. Though if you’re looking to just make one cup, the strainer that comes with this pot is a bit short so you might want to get a longer/deeper one. But it makes 2 or 3 cups worth easily.

If you are into Yixing clay teapots, on ww.nannuoshan.org there are several well below 4 inches, for example:

The bubble teapot is cute! You may want to consider Tokoname side-handled teapot, this one from Mighty Leaf is just over 3 inches high.

Also here’s one from Golden Moon -

You probably need to look for teapots with less than 24 oz. capacity to accommodate your height needs.

This one holds 27 oz., specs say 4.5 inches (may include the lid)

Good luck, I like the idea that you want to have more than one teapot!
