Tea music: What's your favorite music to drink tea to?
Hi all,
I figured it would be fun to share music that we like to drink tea to. What’s your favourite track these days? Any faves? Do you have a set playlist that you must hear during your tea ritual?

I don’t have a particular sound track for drinking tea, but Leonard Cohen is one of my constants, and also a lot of artists like Amy Winehouse, Adele, Beth Rowley, Janelle Monae, and others with jazz/soul/blues influences.
Mmm, I’m also a big fan of jazz/soul/easy listening stuff when I’m taking time out to drink tea – often this is because I drink tea when I want to really relax and this kind of music helps with that!
You guys might like this guy then, his name is Nick Waterhouse and he’s exploding these days.
Ditto. I think jazz is the perfect tea time music. My bf is a jazz guitarist so I often use him for live music during my sip haha :P

I actually love listening to reggae/early ska/rock steady while drinking tea.
I’m also a huge fan of reggae! I love Steel Pulse, and here’s a decently long mix of their stuff :D

You know, the kind of stuff that inspires that sense of inner peace.
What can I say? I’m a headbanger.
Headbangers like tea too. (German black metal seems to go well with shou.)
I like Leonard Cohen too, I’m obsessed with his deep voice.
and I usually listen to soft music played by Gu Zheng, it’s the perfect match with tea, especially chinese tea.
I dont have a tea drinking soundtrack but I find I often drink tea while I’m reading and when I read I often listen to World Trance (a la Buddha Bar), Late Night Trance, or Frank and the boys.

Movie scores are always nice, too. I like a movie score in the background and a mug of tea in the foreground when I’m futzing around on the computer.
