Off the beaten path companies?

I feel like most of the places available to me are off the beaten track for most others. :) And in many cases available to me means unavailable to you…

I am, however, quite fond of Teaspring.com and they don’t seem to be a very well-known company on Steepster. They do unflavoured Chinese teas and they have a very good world-wide shipping rate. They sell the Tan Yang Te Ji which is my favourite tea of all time.

Oh this thread is going to be dangerous, my wishlist just keeps growing :P
My contribution to the list is https://www.etsy.com/shop/mksteacompany I have tried several of their teas and really been impressed with them, especially the blends.

There is also What-Cha but I am pretty sure we all know about them by now!

I think I’ve mentioned Petali teas before, but will add them here too. They’re a nice little local tea company. http://www.herbs-teas.com/ I’m not able to visit often, but even though the selection is kind of on the small side, it is very nice. I’m not a tea expect like some of you, but the Mango Lassi is good, and so is the Chamomile Berry!

I can’t remember where I found these guys, but they have an excellent selection and a beautiful website. The only reason I haven’t ordered from them is because of their outrageous shipping. Maybe one day, but daaang.

This place is great. The Calm tea is my favourite so far.

Also, I haven’t bought from this website yet, but the Wild Blue blueberry tea is out of this world. My dad got the tea for me from somewhere… I forget where, but it is SO good!

Oh man, a Canadian company with links to China. So tempting! Trying to remind myself that I haven’t even tried all my BF/CM purchases yet… definitely don’t need more tea! (I did sign up for the newsletter though). :)

I noticed one on Instagram as well, www.laochaclub.ru, however you need translation software and I don’t know if they accept paypal. They are based in China but are in Russian.

If anyone is local to Long Island, New York there is an excellent company called Clipper Ship Tea Company in Northport. They don’t yet have a website but you can find their info on Facebook.

I don’t have a wide view on many teashops, but I recently bought a black tea and got some green tea samples from www.nannuoshan.org and was positively impressed.
It seems quite an unknown online shop but the quality of the tea is high. And they are very kind in providing information. I also received a personal letter with the order, which made me feel more than “just a customer”; if you know what I mean.

Some of you with a wider teashops’ spectrum also tried their teas. What do you think about them?
Did you also had a good impression?
