verified teas and places?
i notice there is a lack of many places, and many teas with little or no information.
i wonder if some form of verification system would help?
i’m going through noticing some teas I know which i’m updating and adding some more local places.
would be nice to get some feedback on this
and perhaps maybe some form of gamification/rewards for contributing?

The reason that most teas don’t specify much information besides the country of origin, is that they are actually blended. That is, they can be from different regions.
Often big distributors sell to many tea companies, so in essence you can have the same tea in different stores.
Some tea retailers specify their region, others go as far as sourcing from a single tea farm. These are usually smaller in size, and may be more expensive as well.
