Rooibos Tea and Insomnia

Nurse and fellow tea-lover here. Have you had any other allergy-type symptoms? Is it straight rooibos or maybe flavoured with something spicy? I usually love rooibos at night time, but I can imagine if it was something like a chai rooibos the spice could have the opposite of the effect you’d like.

Actually, each time I had one other allergy symptom, extreme chills no matter how warm my apartment was. The rooibos were both blends with multiple ingredients and green rooibos.
