1 Tasting Note

100

This was my very first purchase from the adorably irresistible DAVIDsTEA shop I visited in Coquitlam, BC. I fell in love with it as soon as I took a whiff of the tea leaves – of course I had to buy it then and there. I’m a relatively big fan of earl grey, but never before have I enjoyed such a smooth and rich tasting one such as this! My dad, another big earl grey fan, enjoys it too (I was kind enough to share).

You can really smell the vanilla and bergamot before and after steeping; it’s not overpowering however, and provides a well-balanced flavor. I do not find it overly strong in any way, and has just the right amount of caffeine (what’s tea without caffeine?). It’s my favorite pick-me-up as well as my preferred replacement for coffee. I still cannot get over the amazing smooth texture and taste either – It’s beyond delightful!

Personally, I like my teas quite plain when it comes to sweetener/use. I love to drink Cream of Earl Grey without anything added, but when I do crave a touch of sweetness, honey is always my go to. I’ve always thought it’d be good with milk as well, but I have yet to try it out. This tea is also very good hot as well as cold/iced.

It’s nearly time for me to buy some more…!
