Very nice tea. I tasted it straight before I “doctored it up”. There was no trace of bitterness, just a little touch of a malty flavor on the middle of my tongues. A very mild tea, it still stood up well to vanilla coffee creamer (I’m out of soy creamer right not) and some sweetener. IMO this is a good staple tea, and I really wish my grocery store had it on the shelves!! I picked up a tin at the tea shop in EPCOT yesterday, since we were there for a day of fun, and I know that I like the bagged version of this tea.

Yay for Twinings…their earl grey and english breakfast are my favorite plain earl greys and english breakfast teas :)

Been a while since I have had this, but I remember it as a nice little straight cup.

This comes in bags that make a liter at a time. It’s a fast, cold brew tea and is ready after an hour in the fridge. The resulting tea is a nice, orangey brown color. The taste is very nutty and grainy. It is very refreshing, and makes you want to gulp it down if you drink it while you are really thirsty. I enjoyed my first taste, and I think it will be really wonderful in the summer when it is hot out and we need something really, really cold to drink.

This is definitely something that I’ll be drinking again, especially since it is completely caffeine free. (Well, unless barley somehow has caffeine in it.)

And it’s gone!! Even though this was a bagged tea, it was still good and I’m adding it to the shopping list. It’s nice to have at least a few things that I like available at the local grocery store.

This is straight up tea. The kind of tea that you enjoy after overdosing on the chocolate mint pumpkin spice koolaid melange that sounded so good when you ordered it. I drank this with a touch of soy creamer and some sweetener, which added to the whole this is a tea for someone who wants tea vibe. Lupicia suggests using this tea to make masala chai, which I plan on doing eventually. (I have a bottle of their spices for tea.) Meanwhile, while I’m dealing with a month in which everything that could go wrong IS going wrong, this is a nice, non-bitter flavorful way to start a Friday morning.

I’m a high school chemistry teacher. I enjoy most types of teas. I don’t have any tea shops in my hometown, so I usually order my teas online. Even though I’ve drunk tea for quite a number of years, ordering online for about 15 years, I am far from a tea expert. I just know what I like.
