4 Tasting Notes
This tea smelled a little strange dry, but was delicious once steeped! I made a cup and iced it and it was delicious. I went light on the leaves to make sure the flavors wouldn’t be overpowering, and it was perfect. Loved this delicate but powerful new addition to my collection, but probably wouldn’t restock (there’s just so many teas that I want to try).
Flavors: Cream
Preparation
Grabbed an ounce of this at Davids yesterday (I’ve been wanting to stock up on green teas, and this one looked appealing). I didn’t get home until late, but I brewed a quick cup up hot, drank half of it, then iced the other half this morning. I love the flavors of pomegranate and green tea mixed together – the combo works really well! One of my new favorites, but it wasn’t outstanding iced and I’m looking for iced teas for the summer.
Flavors: Berries
Preparation
I made this tea in my DT Timolino this morning, and it smelled very strongly of caramel. It tasted extremely bitter, and I couldn’t taste the pear flavor at all. Later in the day, I iced and sweetened it, and it was delicious! The pear notes came through and I got a taste of vanilla. A great iced pick, but gross hot.
