I ended up choosing this as my library companion, largely because I didn’t want to try anything new since it wouldn’t have my undivided attention, and because I wanted a flavoured black. And oh, because I’m lazy.

Timolino, no additives. I kind of watched the time to make sure I didn’t oversteep. It’s better this time around. Again, like cinnamon hot chocolate mix. For what it’s worth, this is a great tea for people who like those instant hot chocolate mixes but want to cut down on the sugar consumption.

And yeah, in a way, it kind of is like a brownie. When I unscrewed the lid, after a couple minutes, I was like, “Whoa, baked goods in the library?” Better than going to the library’s cafe and dropping $2-3 on an overpriced chemical-laden brownie. You’ve taken enough of my money already, university peoples.

Sadly, I’m almost finished it already and I’ve only been here for an hour-and-a-half.

TeaBrat

I’ve been curious about this blend but evidently not curious enough to buy any, lol

Fjellrev

That’s the kind of the attitude I think one should have with this tea haha. If you happen to be making an order with them anyway, sure, throw it in out of curiosity since the price is right, but the execution of the brownie flavour isn’t quite there. So nothing to really chase after.

Have you tried any S & V yet?

TeaBrat

yes, I’ve placed a couple of orders with them in the last year or so…

TheTeaFairy

Good on you, I’m sure the Timolino is an excellent investment for University ground! Did you end up taking advantage of DavidsTea’s 40% off teaware? I know noticed quite a few Timolino. I ended up buying the Nordic mug and the glass xiying, it’s so cute.

Fjellrev

I didn’t get anything at 40% off, mostly because I already treated myself to the 2/$35 Nordic mug sale earlier. Totally resisted that pretty purple Timolino. It almost had me! You seemed to have better luck this year with the sale.

TheTeaFairy

Haha! You remembered! Yep, no problems with their website this year!
But…about that Timolino…I know it really wanted YOU… :-(
The nordic mug is great, and I’m surprised by the yixing’s quality, lovely little pot! I’m such a teaware addict…

Fjellrev

Don’t make me regret it! i figured having one Timolino was enough, although the larger one would have been cool… no! Don’t think about it haha.

The yixing sounds like a great addition to your collection! Can’t go wrong at 40% off, really.
