“Another Traveling Tea Box?!?!”

I thought the blend I had this morning from Tin Roof Teas was quite nice, so I was looking forward to trying this one. The dryleaf is very, very sweet smelling.

I don’t taste much of the base- Lightly veggie and salty from what I can discern.
The sweet flavor is slightly nutty, very floral, and has an aftertaste of bubble gum. There is a slight savoriness from the almonds and cinnamon. Not as good as the blend I had this morning, but definitely better than the adagio blends I’ve had the last few days.

Wow, I have been to TRT a number of times but I have never seen this blend! I have probably tried about nine of their teas now, and I have seen the Oolong Shalimar but never tried it. Cool to see our local tea company on here! It is about an hour away from me.

I run, I sing, I drink tea. That’s the best description I have of me.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but have just started trying out a lot more loose teas and varied brands. I’m really excited about a site like steepster so I can read about what people think about different teas.

Oh and I really hate Lipton tea. There’s something just awful about it and I can’t understand why nearly every local diner only has Lipton.

Also I’m on the search for a full-bodied, fruity blackberry tea. So if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way! :-)
