If you have to spend Saturday afternoon cleaning the kitchen, at least do it with Brian Setzer’s Big Band Christmas Extravaganza cranked to an obnoxious level so you can jump, jive, and wail while you scour the sink!
However, there’s only so much Stray Cat Strutting one can do before one needs a break, and I’m taking it with a cup kindly furnished by Lexie Aleah. This afternoon, I’m not getting heavy lemongrass/ginger vibes, but the coconut and vanilla are making visions of light, fluffy coconut macaroons dance in my head.
A lovely little break while I cool my jets and rev them back up to scrub the floor. Wanna come help?

I need to deep clean my kitchen before I start holiday baking… Somehow it just never gets done…
I too am in deep avoidance.
I had planned to clean the kitchen today, and then I only got my tea infuser Smart Soaked and the kettle de-scaled. Priorities……..?
I’m a terrible housekeeper, so nothing is ever truly clean around here, but I can accurately say that things are less dirty!

Also need to Descale my tea kettle. Love this idea for the kitchen cleaning that comes with hosting for the holidays though! Glad you enjoyed it! I really like this one!
