A solid Irish breakfast tea. I like mines with a little milk and sugar.

It’s alright. But I’ve had way better chamomile.

Seriously the best cup of earl grey that I’ve ever had in my life, and perhaps even the best cup of tea period! Had it at a friend’s house when we were having tea, and her boyfriend had brought her a tin from his trip to London. I honestly can’t describe it. The aroma and taste is just aaah so good (as you can see, I’m very eloquent with my words here). I certainly wish these were sold in the USA. Since that day at my friend’s I have been dreaming of another cup. I don’t know when I’ll ever visit London, but when I do, I’m bringing a suitcase of this tea back home with me.

I like fruity teas, I like black teas, and I really like floral teas. I found a marriage worth drinking with this.

Disclaimer: I have a very sweet tooth. In other words, I really like my teas sweetened.

I enjoy this tea enough and am still trying to get through my tin of it. I probably won’t buy again though, as I don’t find the taste worth paying such a steep price for. It does smell wonderful when I’m steeping it though, and I drink it often for days where I want a nice, hot drink that is slightly fruity but not caffeinated. I always add loads of honey to mine.

I can see how this tea is good for someone who likes teas with sweet notes. I personally do not like drinking it straight. If I reach out for this tea, hot milk and lots of sugar is a must, and I just make it into a tea latte. If I have peppermints or mini candy canes on hand, I like to stick a few in. It makes for a nice hot holiday drink.

My house always has this in stock. A very good, high quality black tea that can drunk in any way. If I’m drinking for fun, I often steep this moderately strong, and then add milk and sugar for a nice hot work drink. On days where I have a paper to write or edit, I go through at least 3 to 4 cups a day. On mornings (or nights) where I need to be caffeinated, I steep this very strongly and sip it black. For some odd reason it keeps me awake better than coffee without the headaches, so I like it for this reason.

I’m surprised at some of the lower ratings on here, but most of them seem to be written by people who prefer fruity or chai teas. If you enjoy a simple black tea, this is a great tea to have at home.
