I wish I would have read the tasting notes for this tea. This tea is similar to Harney & Son’s Cinnamon tea because it is sweet and has a very strong cinnamon flavor. Personally, the tea was too overpowering for me, but I was glad I got to try it from a recent swap with Suziqzer

Dare I say… this is my favorite kombucha EVER! I’ve tried a variety of kombucha brands and flavors that range from yeast to vinegar. This one, literally, hits the sweet spot for perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. The ginger adds a warming spice to the mix that keeps it grounded and from becoming too simple and flat.

It’s getting there. I brewed this with a few pieces of rock sugar and it seemed to taste a little better, but towards the end of the cup, it was too astringent for me.

This is a nice flavored green tea that actually lives up to it’s name and scent.
The brewed leaves smell a bit astringent and sour as well as sweet with a grass note to keep it balanced. The pomegranate pairs well with the hibiscus. The brewed tea has a slight pink tinge to the liquid. This would also make a good iced tea if brewed twice as strong and then diluted with ice cubes (or “tea” cubes!).

I brewed this for 3 minutes and it just tastes bland. Only a little more flavored than plain water. I’ll try this again with some sugar and a longer brew time to see if it tastes any better.

This is like a tastier version of Tazo Passion. I can’t wait to taste it iced. It’s a bit too concentrated & sweet when hot.

I’m sad to see this tea go. The flavor reminded me of a Chinese green plum tea that I got from Ten Ren, but more balanced and less sweet. I like the funky punch of the kombucha which is mellowed out by the green tea. Definitely one of the better Capital Teas.

This is about the 5th time I’ve used this mix and I think I’ve got the hang of it. I mix about 3 tablespoons with 6 ounces unsweetened almond milk and 2 ounces of espresso. The unsweetened milk really changes the flavor and makes it more balanced. Since I’m not focusing on the sugar, the spice comes through a lot better and it’s a delight to drink. It’s bumping Granville Island down a notch!

Very astringent & flat tasting. There isn’t any real depth of flavor.

I brewed this plain for about 5 minutes. The smell of the wet leaves is very strong in citrus and a spice I can’t place my finger on.

The orange flavor is bright and fresh. The tea leaves have a little astringency, but are not bitter.

Thank you TeaTiff for a great sample & introducing me to a new tea company.
