wow! I did not expect this tea to be SO yummy.
For the first brew, I tried it hot and it was supremely satisfying. The lime and gelato parts came out nice and balanced, which surprised me because some friends mentioned that they hated this tea after trying a sample in the store. (I should have known better- they always add too much sweetener and oversteep)
The green base was mild but appropriately so given it’s palate partners!
Second infusion wasn’t as great. a bit watery and worn(minus points) down but I’ll take it. Too much caffeine is bad for a girl anyhow.
aaaaaaaand for the first time ever, I am excited about trying a loose tea ICED! This one should be incredible. yay! :)

You… Will… NOT! … be… let down!!! I am not a huge fan of green teas, flavoured or otherwise and after trying “Movie Night” and loving it, this one was not a hard sell at the store. I have had it over steeped but it only seemed to make it more creamy? slightly bitter but more creamy, and when making it iced in my 20oz Starbucks iced drink cup I have only used three teaspoons to 1/3 of hot water in an 8 cup botum, steep for (in my case forget about it and come back) pour into venti cup over ice and voila! You have a delicious cup of tea with enough caffine to get you through a night meeting for Summer Camp. (Two days in a ROW!)
LOL
yes I can see how that would keep you up all night!!
They really knocked it out of the park with this one. Movie Night is not my fave tea of DTs but this one… wow, there are not enough wows!
My friend who tried it has very odd tea preferences so I need to learn that his idea of good tea is not anywhere near mine! ha.
Mmmmmm I can’t wait to try this iced… it will have to wait til tuesday as I left it at work :S
