Meh. For a milky oolong anyhow. Not that it was bad, much better than the first time I tried the DT version!! I think it was oversteeped then and in fact may have been scorched this time to boot. The sweetness tasted a tad artificial, almost as if the lactose was infused into the leaves- which I know some tea houses do.
Nonetheless, I will not be purchasing any because I know how much better it can be! once you go high quality, it’s hard to go back! my commitment to loose-leaf in general is proof of that :)
I will concede however, that this is a very good starter Milky Oolong, and pure tea for those who are new. If I hadn’t sampled other versions, this would be it for me!

I agree. I loved this stuff when I first had it but tried some better-quality ones (which make me believe this one definitely does have something added before it gets to DT) and this is just sitting on my shelf, neglected.
Glad I’m not the only one to think so!! I think the worst part for me was that this was not the first MO I tried so when I did it was a big letdown

I also agree with you. It’s not a bad tea, but it pales in comparison to others.
Yes it really does!! the ATR version is SO good… forever grateful for that one!
