I will not rate this because It is my signature blend.
It’s slightly sweet and nutty, the taste of the assam really comes through.

Over the weekend updated the labels for my 4 Seasons blends. “4 Seasons. Autumn” is probably on of two personal favorites of all of my blends including Zodiac.

The smell and taste reminds me of bubblegum. It’s fruity and slightly tart. Not bad but probably not my favorite.

Today my old Zodiac blends were deleted so they are no longer available. Wondering if it’s possible to delete them here as well.

Drinking concubines is an interesting phrase….

“Drinking concubines” sounds pretty hilarious.

Did they get reblended or something? Because I’m still seeing tins of the Zodiac teas listed for sale on the Adagio website.

My old signature blends were deleted and are no longer available. The new Zodiac Series teas are available under “gifts”. I re-designed the tins and Cynthia from Adagio re-blended my old blends. Some of the teas are upgraded versions of my initial blends but some blends are completely new. INMO the new blends are so much better which is hardly surprising because Cynthia is professional blender and I’m not.

This is the last bit left of this tea. I’m determined to explore more of pu erh which I often refer to as “dirt tea” :)
Broke my glass tea cup. Oh well, it was a $5 cup from a recycled glass, so it’s not a big deal.

Such a calming and refreshing blend. I love how it slightly tart and sweet at the same time.

Today a tea related subject on Moods and Appetites: http://moodsandappetites.com/ featuring one of my all time favorite photographers Henri Cartier-Bresson.

I’ve recently discovered that I really like Pu-erh teas. The three Pu-erh teas I have tried from Verdant tea were most excellent. This one is quite earthy, a bit musty (in a very good way) with a citrusy hint.

Today on Moods and Appetites our family favorite: South River Farm Miso. I eat this every single day. I would highly recommend to watch the video (so adorable!) http://moodsandappetites.com/

I like this even better than the first time. Cynthia has done an amazing job. Tea and chamomile, rooibos, apples, peppermint are all quite subtle are finely balanced with the green and white tea.

Got this as a sample with my order along with the hand-written thank you note. I love when people pay attention to detail. It definitely matters to me.

This is very rich and deep. Slightly peppery with notes of cinnamon and honey/sugar. What I like the most, however, is the silky smoothness of this tea.
I wanted to have this with a small piece of chocolate but turns out I don’t have any left…. That must be rectified tomorrow.

I’m having this as an after dinner tea and I did overindulge bit … The tea really hits the spot. This time around I can really taste the pine nuts.

It’s late and I’m sipping a herbal/white tea blend which seems appropriate. It’s a mellow and calming blend; I can taste honeybush, apples and a hint of apricots.
