drank Honey Black by DAVIDsTEA

I don’t particularly like how DavidsTea doesn’t list what type of tea it is, only that it’s “from the east coast of Taiwan.” It tastes a bit like Assam, with it’s malty flavor, but it’s not as strong. Although it has a distinct flavor, it tastes weak to me, lacking the tannin flavor I typically associate with black tea. I’m not getting any honey flavors, either.

I’ll have to play with the steeping time and amounts, but for now, it just tastes like a weak cup of Irish Breakfast. I’ll give it one thing—it is smooth. If you like English Breakfast (I don’t) then you’d probably like this tea. Personally, for its price point, it’s not that great.
