A full bodied, well seasoned, smooth textured and dark cup of tea, even on the 4th infusion with only one teaspoon. This is a full leaf tea with a rewarding spicy and sweet fragrance and taste in every sip. It’s a tea of amusing complexity and is evocative of hiking through a deciduous forest after an October rainstorm. Pairs especially well with rich foods or stands on it’s own as one of the best darjeelings I have ever tried.

Flavors: Dark Wood, Honey, Mineral, Muscatel, Nutmeg, Rainforest, Spicy, Sweet, Wet Earth

Preparation
Boiling 5 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Bio

I’ve recently returned home to NY after decades of living out West and in the South where people only drink tea iced with enough sugar to put a rhino in a coma. I drink my tea without milk or sugar, same as my coffee, because I want to taste it. Irish Breakfast (Barry’s please!) and Earl Grey are my daily cups and I’m always happy to try creative, custom blends and am lucky to have high quality tea shops nearby.
