So, I finally got to enjoy my yixing pot today, which was amazing! I adore this pot so very much, and it makes me feel accomplished as a tea enthusiasts to finally have the proper gear to really enjoy my tea. Before this, all I had was the teavana perfect tea maker, which I love, don’t get me wrong. I just feel like this set that I got pulls me one step more into this amazing culture this is tea _
I used this tea in my yixing pot and became obsessed. First, my pot is 18 Oz and I topped it off three times. I adore everything about it.
The tea is wonderfully fragrant both dry and while steeping and the flavor is nice and light. I got tones of lilac and lavender, but not to much that it tasted as such. I also got a light seaweed dryness at the end of the pot. I am such a sucker for a good oolong and I hope it only get better from here.
