Took a thermos of this to the market today to perk me up during the drizzle and clouds. Worked well! Had a dash of milk in it, really good.

Comfort food in a mug. Sorely needed at the moment. And it even re-steeped pretty well.

This week was just odd. My medical condition seems to be playing up, so I’ve spent a good part of this week at home on the couch, with my giant box of stargate keeping my company.

I steeped this one a few times on Friday, around 4 1min steeps. A lovely sweet oolong, with a generous amber colour in each steep. Very enjoyable.

Giant box of Stargate FTW!

Hope you feel better, too!

Ta! Well, its genetic, so technically I’ll never be better, but I think the symptoms are easing for the moment. And Daniel Jackson is always helpful!

I’d agree with Michelle’s assessment. The pomegranate adds a little sweetness, perhaps, but not much else. Pretty tasty still.

Thanks for the sample Michelle!

The other half and I both had a glass of this today. Iced of course, because who is having hot herbals in 32oC heat? Especially in my house. North facing up the river. Lotsa sun. Anywho, this lovely, naturally sweet, and so refreshing iced. My supply is from my Christmas tea bauble bag.

Had my first cup if this at work this afternoon. So very tasty! A real full bodied caramel flavour, without being to overpowering or sickly sweet. A really lovely tea.

Finally using my free bag from last year’s promo for a jug of iced tea. This is really good cold, and is helping with the 32oC temperatures today.

I remember getting my first cup of tea at about the age of 8. Just a standard run of the mill black, with some sugar and milk to make it palatable to an 8year old. But a love was born and I’ve never looked back!

I’ve always appreciated the quality of loose leaf, and thanks to the discovery of the fanatastic gadgets at DavidsTea while on holiday, the tea obsession has grown! Is it weird to be ordering tea and having it sent half way around the world?

I’d love to do some tea swaps with people to try new teas. I have a bit of a DavidsTea range for any Australians interested in trying some DT goodness minus international postage fees!

Ive just started working at The Art of Tea , a small Tasmanian company. They dont currently ship overseas, but im more than happy to arrange swaps with people. their full product listing can be found here: http://www.artoftea.com.au/. (December 2012).
