oh this IS yummy! i was afraid it would be too perfume-y rose-y, or even just mostly artificial tasting, but no it was not at all! the roses make this tea look just gorgeous when dry, and taste simply delightful as tea. quite flowery without being overwhelming, and the earl grey is just so complemented by the addition of the rose petals. just perfect. (although i feel a strange compulsion to throw a tea party as soon as possible..crumpet? scone? TEACAKES!!!)

oh yum. this is a nice oolong – not too floral, but just floral enough. the underlying vegetation is, as someone else mentioned, reminding me of a pine forest – specifically the pine forest i grew up in, just after the rain. very lush experience, this tea.

hrm. i have way too much of this. sipping away some more of it, just to get my green on for the day. i guess i’m looking at that rating i’ve given it before, and it’s better than that. well, this time it is, but i oversteeped the heck out of it just to see what would happen, and i think i like it a lot better this way. still do not love. sad.

this is from the sample they sent me….and now i’m going to have to go buy me a tin-full. this is quite good, enjoyed it for my AM tea today – two steepings, no milk and sugar even! although next time, i may try it that way, just to be decadent. at any rate, i’ll write a better tasting note at some point in the future when i have more time…

this is the second half of the free sample they sent me, i guess i managed to rate this tea but not give any other impressions! at any rate, this is now one of my favorite oolongs. just the right amount of floral, just the right amount of greenery, just the right amount of round creamy goodness.
