892 Tasting Notes
So I thought this would go PERFECTLY after dinner. The warm pumpkin spice flavors fit in with my salad and stuffed mushrooms. I used 3 tea bags instead of 2 for a pot. The pumpkin comes out a little bit more and it tastes like pumpkin pie. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm perfect :]
Thanks Lariel! I was letting this cool while I was doing yoga and the aroma made my mouth water! It’s very sweet smelling. The flavor is sweet. The black tea base is very bold and very present. The caramel and praline flavors are more in the background and aftertaste. There is a bit of a dark chocolate\coco flavor that is almost as strong as the black tea base. I’m glad I got the chance to try it! Thanks again!
The first time I had this it was in my travel mug and tonight I’m having it with a splash of vanilla almond milk. I’m not getting much of the red velvet cake flavor but more of a chocolate roasted mate. The vanilla helps to make it a bit more cakey but still… all I taste is chocolate and vanilla :[ maybe I’ll have to play with it a little.
Aaaahhh it’s so nice to have a good cup of tea and read reviews again. I’ve been on the road and the only tea I have had was out of my libre mug with hot gas station water…
I’m pretty sure this is the tea Lariel sent. It’s the only one that has strawberry and puerh from Teavana. But it’s pretty good! I’ve always thought puerh and strawberry would go nicely together. The strawberry is tart but still sweet in the aftertaste. The puerh earthiness is there and blends well. I reaallyy enjoyed this. Thanks again!
Thank you Ellyn!
I didn’t really know if this tea would turn out for me. But it did :] And it made a wonderful first cup after yoga. The flavors are nice. I’m getting sweet, malty and almost a dark chocolatey\toffee kind of flavor. It has a bit of astringency to it but it’s still good. I enjoyed it. Thanks again!
