So I’m pretty sure this is the tea that was sent to me..
ANYWAYS thank you Alphakitty! This tea is actually pretty unique. It’s also very pretty. I have never tasted another one like it. It’s sweet but still has something I can’t put my finger on. The green tea base is nice and I feel like it adds a bit of vegetal sweetness to it. I can catch hints of the orange and lemon flavors. I’m not sure what juniper berries taste like but I’m sure they’re adding to the sweetness :] I reeaallly enjoyed this tea. Thanks again!
Thanks Alphakitty! I was excited to get this one. It smells SO good. And it tastes even better :) the cotton candy flavor is there but it’s not overpowering. The blueberry is there but to me the cotton candy is more the dominated flavor. I’m really happy I got a chance to try this. It’s such a fun tea! Thanks again!!
Thank you Alphakitty! This is such a pretty tea! I never, ever have luck with black and green blends. Their either too bitter or too weak. Sadly, this came out as too bitter. The aroma is lovely, though. The flavor is still very floral. The one I taste the most is rose followed by lavender. But it’s still bitter :( it would have been amazing if I didn’t ruin it.
Thanks ToiToi! The aroma of this tea is like a freshly baked vanilla cup cake. Brewed it smells like short bread cookies and black tea. Which by the way is the PERFECT snack. The vanilla is actually pretty strong. Most vanilla teas I’ve tried are weak in flavor. This is the best one I’ve tried yet. It’s creamy, smooth, and now I’m craving the short bread cookies on my kitchen table and I can’t have them :( (I’m in a hotel in the middle of Idaho…) Thanks again!!
Thank you ToiToi! This one smells delicious. Lovely fruit notes. Mostly peach. Once it’s brewed the apricot aroma starts to come out. It came out a bit bitter but it is still good. Has a nice fruity flavor. The bitterness goes away and the peach really comes out as it cools.
Also… Yay for my 300th tasting note :D
Thank you Alphakitty! I think rooibos was an excellent choice as the base. It works well with the other flavors. I’m catching light notes of chocolate and banana. It’s not super strong in both flavors but it’s just enough to make it delicious. It makes me think of banana creamies. It’s sweet and has a lovely creamy note to it. I really enjoyed this blend :) thanks again!
Woke up to this lovely cup today. I love my Breville. :) I haven’t had a good white tea for a while so I thought I’d make this today. This tea has a natural sweetness about it. It’s very delicate tasting and I can catch little fruity, floral notes. Maybe it’s time to place a Teavivre order!
Yup, this is the one! It’s a really interesting blend, the juniper berries just add something extra.
I loved that it had juniper berries in it. I’ve never tried them but it definitely made this tea.
Yeah, it’s not common in teas at all. I think I might order some for blending!
That sounds like a good idea! If you blend something delicious I’ll be more than happy to test it :)
