892 Tasting Notes
The description was right! This does brew up very dark. I thought it would be a little bit stronger but it’s just right! It’s very smooth and earthy with hints of something I just can’t put my finger on. It has a sweeter finish as it begins to cool.
This tea makes me think of horses. Like, horseback riding or hanging out in the stables. If I were to go horseback riding I would definitely take a tumbler full of this wonderful pu-erh. It just fits :]
Preparation
I really tried to wait until the tea tasting but this one was just calling my name! The aroma is very different from what I expected. It’s very warm and fruity.. It almost reminds me of a pie.. I can even smell the warm crust.
The flavor of this oolong is very light. I can taste the cranberry and apple but they aren’t as tart as I would have expected them to be. There are some floral notes but, they are super light. I enjoyed this tea! It’s perfect when you’re in the mood for a lighter oolong :] Thank you!
Preparation
Thanks for the sample IrishBreakfastLass! This one smells very rich in the bag. I wasn’t sure if I was feeling a chai this morning but this is definitely wonderful. The weather is windy, knocking walnuts off the tree onto the roof scaring the heck out of my cat. It’s cold and cloudy too :/ But I feel that this tea fits.
Anyways… This is a very light chai. I like that I can taste the black tea base through the chai. Or is it I can taste the chai through the black tea? The vanilla is very light as well. This was perfect for the first morning cup! Light and soft :] Thanks again!
Preparation
Thanks, Jes for sending this my way! This has a really nice flavor to it :) its sweet and juicy. The lemon is just right, not too tart and not too light. The mango kind of rounds the edge of tartness from the lemon and hibiscus. The flavors blend so nicely. Thanks again!
Preparation
So when I decided to get this one I was worried about it being waaaaay too tart. It smells delicious. I’m pretty certain I added way too much water. I just kind of guessed with my new little matcha bowl. I’m not really getting any cranberry flavor. Just a watered down smartie taste. It’s still yummy, but I’ll have to try it again and pay attention to my water. Until next time… I still give it a good rating :)
Preparation
I received this one in a random sample swap from Ze_Teamaker! So thank you :D It smells so good! I didn’t really know what to expect flavor wise from this tea. It reminds me of a chinese soda(kind of like rootbeer but A LOT different) I get from the Southeast Market with a scoop of ice cream or vanilla in it. MM :] I’m happy I got to try this one! Thank you again Ze_Teamaker!
Preparation
Thanks IrishBreakfastLass! Mm this smells so good! It made my entire kitchen smell like cinnamon. It’s strongest flavor is cinnamon(maybe a bit too much for my liking) but I can get hints of apple, vanilla, and orange. Mm :] Thanks again!
