237 Tasting Notes
Cloudy and muggy day. Would love to feel like a million bucks so I choose this smoky,decadent and very nutty tea to start the day off right.
This tea smells lightly of marzipan and coconut with a rich downy blanket of teeth clenching nuttiness and smokiness. Like Fantasy Island without the sexiness or sweetness. This tea is all about bars of gold,dollar bills and bling …serious bling. Definitely fit for royalty. Opulent and deep like the dank back end of a safety box filled with treasure. Sounds bad but actually it smells wonderful ( I imagine)
As for taste..it is wonderfully sharp and nutty,warming and soothing with a kiss of coconut that lingers on the tongue and a very slight tart sweetness from the raisins. Golden smooth and deeply rich with an absolutely gorgeous nuttiness. It tastes like the perfect fall/winter coat.
Perfect for: cold nights,a need for opulence,lovers of smoky and nutty teas.
Final Verdict: this tea is Fantasy Island’s romantic partner they both share these deep smoky elements but where Fantasy Island is sweet and sexy Brazillionaire is deep and rich like a baritone. They are a pair that I believe belong together. Husband and wife tea! I prefer Fantasy Island but I love the husband too. This tea is a lovely win.
Well it is time for a white tea. I haven’t had a straight one for a while so I bought some White Peony.
Smells like the real thing,quality thing high in antioxidant thing.
I put less in accidentally so steeped longer hopefully we will get a great glimpse of the elegance of this tea.
Taste is nice and light with a silky base and smooth sipping all the way down. It is a bit too light in my opinion but I think this might be nice to mix with another tea ..something really sweet or decadent and add this lovely full base to it..any ideas?
Final verdict: a little too gentle but quality white tea.

I’m loving what DT is doing with Chamomile right now! Don’t stop.
I went to pick up the new menu from DT and this was the tea of the month so I grabbed the 50 trams immediately.
The iced sample sold me completely. I love it iced it is smooth and sweet with a light tartness the smoothness of the chamomile lies like a perfect velvety base. mmmmmmmmm
Hot is nice but iced is the way to go. The flavours are just so ice friendly.
I’m seeing this as a possible staple.

So I oversteeped but I hope that is a plus.
In the pouch this smells decadent,sexy as hell,creamy and like pistachios getting it on under silk sheets.
I’ve always loved pistachios so I’m looking forward to trying this. Hopefully it won’t be disappointing like Sugar and Spice ….sad story but true.( I’m sticking to Glitter and Gold)
This is very nice, silky smooth and sweet with gentle kisses of chamomile …I think steeping it so long let the taste really develop.
Perfect for: people who want decadent adult cures for an upset tummy,late night sweet tooth,warming and soothing needed during the rainy nights and a warm hug.
Final verdict: me likey! Gorgeous presentation and wonderful boot in the ass of traditional chamomile teas. Plus pistachio! Not sure if a staple yet but if you are stressed or anxious this is the answer to a fashionable sexy tummy tamer.

So MRI last night. Was like being in a super slowed down Feindflug song. So now begins the waiting game and it is hard to get back to any normal state ..so much fear but denial is lovely this time of year. So as my gift for getting DT superfan status I got the new Fall Collection before anyone else..soot!
On to the tea.
I so love the smell of this tea ..it reminds me of these polish hard glazed with white sugar pastries with incredible chewy centres…..mmmmmm….memories.
I steeped to 5
And steeped a little less of the amount then recommended because I’m going to avoid bitterness.
The tea smells like the sweetened black tea my mom used to make for me ever since I can remember. This smells like the perfect comfort tea especially with all this stress it makes me feel like my mom is right beside me. This tea smells like home in comfy blankets and comfort everything.
As for taste..
Just a decent light black tea.
I’m a little disappointed for what it promised.
I barely taste anything but the base.
Just a very good but totally basic black tea with no extras. A real pity.
Maybe I’ll try to steep for 7 but I’m super hesitant.
I’ll stick with Glitter and Gold I think.

well I keep it cool and air tight so it lasts 1 to 2 years so I couldn’t even tell you.Depends on my moods..my faves at any given time ..on and on
So this was the best vacation ever…then I got home.
On last Monday I went numb all on one side no other symptoms. Went to the emergency room and they did a CT scan. The doctor comes out and tells me “You appear to have a mass in your brain” it is hard to even type that without collapsing . I then had to wait 12 hours to see the top Neurosurgeon …12 hours of hell it was like torture waiting and imagining the worst ..they finally came down and they are pretty sure it is a cyst but it is pressing on my brain stem. There are three types it can be but next step is an MRI..to say I’m terrified and depressed is a giant understatement so please forgive the quality of my reviews right now…goodbye drama onto the tea!
After such stress I needed some DT pronto. Picked this up for 3 reasons 1: the name because I sure am a tart 2: it is a mate 3: I could get just 8 trams and it smelled nice. I am worried about it becoming Pink Flamingo but we’ll see.
In the pouch or smells subdued kind of reminiscent of a whiff of earthy Campinos?!
Taste time! And hopefully a good damn burst of energy I am preparing my bedroom for a new kitten and there is much work to be done.
Yummy! Like Tazo Passion tea NOT Pink Flamingo! I only steeped for 5. It is lovely! Sadly not quite Paradise Found (which is being phased out cry) but I am enjoying it more then I thought! It is also the most gorgeous color.
Perfect for: icing,a morning kick,late nights with studying turning into more sexy activities,the beginning of Fall and still being able to dress Tarty for a little while longer without a jacket.
Final thoughts: Tarty in the best way. Everyone should try it at least once ! I’d stick to 5 minutes for those of us not fond of straight Hibiscus.

OMG, I’m sorry to hear about all of that. I hope they get the MRI right away and they find it’s the easiest one to deal with. I had to spend some time at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver if it turns out you have to go there I can tell you that my experiences there were generally positive. For what it is.
Going out for tea is the best reaction ever. I’m happy you weren’t disappointed. And new kitten! :O
