So I walked into David’s Tea today super stoked to try out some of the new flavours in the Fall Collection. Having my sights set on only getting four of the five teas (I’m not a big fan of Mom’s Apple Pie) I asked the sales associate which one was her favorite. She said “Mom’s Apple Pie”. I told her the last time I tried that one I didn’t get as much of an apple PUNCH that I wanted. She then told me to try this one; I smelt it and I fell in love!
The aroma of this tea reminds me of a green apple jolly rancher!
For the first time making this tea I did accidentally forget to turn off the water just before boiling so my cup did turn out a little bitter (but nothing that a splash of almond milk can’t fix). I do find I enjoy the taste better after it’s cooled down a bit – I find it brings out more of an apple flavour that sort of reminds me of apple cider.
