3 Tasting Notes
The smell of this tea is out of this world, rich, nutty, warm. Freshly post steeping none of that came through for me until I added a tablespoon of honey. After the honey some of the flavours started coming through more. I didn’t get any nutty notes until I paired it with a rhubarb muffin… GREAT pairing fyi. I also really got into the earthy beetroot aftertaste. I make a beetroot bread I think would go well with this with some butter on it.
Then I gulped down the room temp bottom third a few hours later and I loved it which makes me think I’ll be making this as an iced tea from now on. I’d also like to try this with milk once I have some in the house again.

I got this tea in a set. I have a low tolerance for mint/peppermint and I really wish they’d skipped the peppermint flavouring in this one as there’s just a tiny bit too much for me to find it super enjoyable. It’s now on the “roommates welcome” shelf. I did find it to have a calming effect though and I don’t usually find that with “calming” teas so I can see myself re-visiting it a few times.
