Sipdown number 2! This was my choice for the morning, or one of them rather. It’s also okay. DT recommended 5 minutes of steep time which I think my have been a little much for this tea to handle. It’s a bit astringent now, and I’m pretty sure I had another little sample pack of this before and like it more so hmm. Added a wee bit of sugar to sweeten it up and it definitely tastes a bit better now, like a slightly bitter chocolate covered banana. I think I may count this is a mess up.

Sipdown number 1 of today, technically I’m not drinking this and the fiancé is. I did have a little sip though. We came to pretty much the same conclusion and that is that this tea is just “meh”. It’s definitely chocolatey but lacking in the kick we thought something with “chili” in the name should have, and with “chai” for that matter.

Sipdown! This is number 3 for today! (As I finish writing this in the morning, oops!)

This is a really lovely green tea. The tea itself is gorgeous. Little curly, downy leaves that smell delicious! The liquor is a very very light green, a bit vegetal and a bit sweet, and very smooth. As far as particular notes go I’m actually kind of forget because I didn’t get that far in my notes while sipping. I guess I’ll have to just get some more the next time I order from Teavivre!

Tea: ~2 tsp
Water: ~2 cups
Additives: none
Brewing method: A lovely DT teapot

Sipdown, gosh I’ve had this for a while. Brewed it hot and then went to log it and saw everyone liked it better cold. Oops! I still like it hot though, but I’m not sure I’ll order more.

Finally finishing up a sample size of this that I got down at the beach last year. It’s such a nice light cup, definitely a tea I’d like to have more of on hand. A little floral and a little fruity. I think this is a good green for those who don’t really like green teas. It’s not too vegetal or overbearing. It’s just one of those teas that makes me happy inside. :)

A very light and enjoyable cup. It’s fun to watch it steep as well because it starts as little rolled balls of tea and they unfurl into lovely leaves. Steeped this in my winter themed perfect mug (I need one for spring/summer) and I love covering it while it steeps and then when it’s time you open it and BOOM leaves ahoy. Anyway, this tea is very light and tasty, a bit vegetal, a little smokey, and a little bit of a raisin type note. Not bad, I’ve actually started drinking more green/white/oolong tea than black tea. Never thought I’d say that!

Delicious as always. :)
Love the way these leaves just expand, my teapot barely contains them!

Hm. This is Banana Nut Bread with a twist. I didn’t really care for the Banana Nut Bread (still have some in my sample bag). I wish DT would send some different kinds of herbals with their sampler kits (though I did skip the winter one).
This is more enjoyable than the BNB (too lazy to type it out again), but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to purchase it. It’s like BNB toned down with some coconut thrown in as well as a mix of some juicier fruits. Kinda weird, but not bad.

Agreed. BNB with a bit of coconut or something.

Yum yum. This tea has me smacking my lips after every sip! My first milk oolong of any sort, I have a sample from Teavivre sitting around as well so I will have compare the two later. They are both flavored I think (not super sure about this one), but that’s no problem.

Creamy and delicious, milky sweet. Just plain delicious! First steep, we’ll see how the others go. I’m glad I got a decent sized back of this!
